Wong Kaizhou

Kaizhou was called to the Singapore Bar in 2021.

Kaizhou graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2020 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2021.

He has been involved in a range of contested and uncontested matters including personal injury, matrimonial disputes, contentious probate, guardianship, deputyship proceedings, employment, and landlord and tenant disputes. He has also handled the drafting of wills and lasting power of attorney (LPA) and assisted with criminal cases involving charges such as trafficking in controlled drugs, possession and consumption of controlled drugs, and criminal breach of trust.

Notable Cases
  • Assisted in the successful defence of the validity of a will in a contested probate matter where a non-beneficiary sibling brought a challenge against his sibling who was both an executor and beneficiary to the will of their mother.
  • Assisted in a High Court matter regarding assessment of damages for damaged goods, adjudged to be valued in excess of half a million Singapore dollars, arising from a damaged wastewater pipe.
  • Drafted a Deed of Guardianship to assist a foreign parent unable to travel to Singapore in the care of her child based locally.
